Clark is an incredibly birdie dog. He absolutely loves to do what the breed was originally bred to do, retrieve birds. He is a joy to train and he is very serious about doing his retrieve work. At times, he can be so excited that he forgets his line manners but we have been working on that very hard and he is doing great. He also loves to swim and I can never keep him out of water. Clark is currently training for his junior hunt test and working certificate (WC). I ran Clark in his first junior hunt tests on April 16-17, 2011. I wasn't sure how we would do as I hadn't been able to get out much to do training due to the rain and cold. Clark was wonderful and passed his first two junior hunt tests on his first two tries. His marks were beautiful although I still need to work on his line manners. Clark passed his 3rd junior hunt test on May 22, 2011. Clark finished his JH title by earning his fourth qualifying leg on Sunday, August 28th. It was a very early morning and we drove in the remnants of a hurricane but it was so worth it. Clark nailed his marks and did a great job. I'm so proud of my boy!
