We hope that you will enjoy this site with its pages of information on the wonderful Irish Water Spaniels loved by us and learning more about this fantastic breed that we are devoted to. Bringing a dog into your home is a very important decision and as with any breed, the IWS may not be right for everyone, so please learn and enjoy. As you explore this site, you will find a lot of information about our IWS, their accomplishments and lots of pictures. There are pages dedicated to Scout, my foundation bitch; Drake, my first IWS; Clark, the son of Scout from her first litter; and Glider, Scout's daughter from her second litter and the youngest member of our family. You will also find a tab "Dogs of Cuardach" which has individual pages with pictures and information of the dogs that have come from our kennel. Under the "Puppies" tab, you will find information on the Scout/Casey litter born on April 11, 2006 and on the Scout/Tyler litter born March 30, 2008. You will also find a lot of information under the "General Information" tab including training, health care, socialization, crate training, feeding, and helpful links.

Clark wishing everyone a very merry Christmas - 2008
Liberty qualified for Crufts in conformation. What an honor.
Scout ran great at the AKC agility invitational in Long Beach, California on December 13th and 14th and ended up 2nd out of 3 IWS competing and 42nd overall in the 24 inch height class with over 90 dogs running in that height. We had a blast.
Liberty placed 12th out of 160 dogs in one of her agility runs. It was a tough course and a high level. She also participated in a freestyle demo at Discover Dogs in London.
Seeker finish her breed championship on Sunday, November 16th by going winner's bitch for a 3 point major at the shows at the Howard County fairgrounds.
Clark earned his AX title on 11/1/08. The next day, Clark qualified in excellent B standard to earn his first MACH points. Scout earned her excellent Fast title on 11/2/08 also.
Bryd earned her first 2 breed points and was successfully shown by her owner Brenda. I'm very proud of them.
Liberty is doing fantastic in agility. She placed 14th out of a class of 140 dogs in one of her jumping runs at a recent trial.
Liberty won her novice class in her first breed show in England on October 12, 2008.
Megan earned her Rally Excellent title at the Wine Country shows earning her 3rd leg and title on September 27th. She placed every day in the huge open bitch class and took reserve winner's bitch on Sunday, September 28th.
On August 23, 2008, Clark qualified in all 6 of his runs and completed his novice jumpers with weaves title and earned his first open JWW leg. He also earned his open standard agility title and earned his first excellent leg. He earned two novice Fast legs.
Liberty earned her Kennel Club Gold Good Citizens award on August 11, 2008. This is a high level award which Liberty earned with flying colors.
Megan earned her novice obedience title (CD) in 3 straight shows qualifying each day. She also earned her 3rd rally advanced leg for her RA title and she won winner's bitch Saturday and Sunday, all at the Canfield, Ohio shows held August 2nd and 3rd.
Clark is our first Cuardach breed champion finishing on Friday, July 4th in West Friendship, Maryland by going Winner's dog/Best of Winners for a 4 point major under the judge Sam Houston McDonald.
Seeker won winner's bitch/best of winner's and best bred-by at the Maryland Sporting Dog Association show on Sunday, March 2nd for a 4 point major. She also won best bred-by on Saturday, March 1st.
