Agility
Drake was my first agility dog and he loved it. He was very fast and a big jumper. He was a big boy so it was amazing how agile he was and how he could speed across the dogwalk and leap high over jumps. He earned his AKC novice agility titles and was working on his open titles (two legs toward open standard and one leg towards open jumpers with weaves). He was a character on the agility field. One lesson I learned was to never laugh at an IWS. He was running a course and saw a camera man and went running straight up to him wagging his tail and barking as if to say, "hey, look at me." Everyone at the trial laughed and from then on, Drake always looked for the camera men at trials.
