Going Home

It was a very busy weekend when most of the puppies went to their new homes.  They were 10.5 weeks old and we happen to be holding the 3rd annual IWS training weekend at Betty Wathne's farm so I thought this was a great place to send off my pups.  We did several short sessions of puppy training which was great.  We also did some bird training for those who wanted to do that.  While it was hard to say good-bye to each individual pup, it was definitely time for them to go to their new homes.  They were ready to leave the litter and become family members in their new homes.  Many of the pups will have performance events, hunting and/or conformation in their futures but most importantly, they will be loving family members.  I kept the boy, Clark.  I will also have Liberty (the orange pup) for several months while we go through all of the steps so she can go to her home in England.
