As the pups turned 10 weeks old, it was time to start saying good-bye and send them off to their forever homes. It was a very busy weekend as we sent most of the puppies off. Saoirse (the yellow girl) flew to her home in California on Thursday. The flight went well and she arrived safely. Most of the other pups went home between Friday, June 6th and Sunday, June 8th. We still have Sheena (the purple girl) who will fly to her home in Massachusetts on Wednesday and Shea, the orange boy will go home on June 15th. While it was hard to say good-bye to each individual pup, it was definitely time for them to go to their new homes. They were ready to leave the litter and become family members in their new homes. Many of the pups will have performance events, hunting and/or conformation in their futures but most importantly, they will be loving family members. I kept the Glider, the pink girl and she is thrilled to be getting more of my attention to herself.
